SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGs) 

Our Special Interest Groups ("SIGs") are member-run groups that host a variety of activities and events. These may occur during the day, evenings or on weekends. *Some events include spouses or partners.


Aerobic Walking - Reach your 10,000-step goal on scenic Seacoast pathways, and then unwind with coffee and conversation.

Book Club - A World of Stories - Read and discuss a variety of books

Breakfast Buddies - Break bread at local restaurants with the group

Coffee Roulette - An hour of time to meet a new friend

Downhill Skiing* - Head to the nearby mountains to ski with friends. 

Foodies & Friends - Activities with friends who enjoy cooking - based on the theme du jour

Golf - Get out on the course with women of all levels for a fun round

Kayaking - For those who love to be on the waterways and paddle around

Knitting & Fiber Handicrafts - Friends working together on knitting or any other needle craft projects

Line Dancing Lessons* - Grab your boots and learn or perfect your dances at two local venues. All levels welcome to this monthly event


Lunch Bunch- Get together with members for a monthly restaurant luncheon.   

Mahjong - Pick and swap tiles to be the first to complete a winning hand!

Membership Ambassadors - Help make the newest members feel welcome with your outreach

Mexican Train* - All aboard for a fun and entertaining variation of dominoes (spouses optional)

Spanish Conversation- All levels welcome to meet for conversation, practice and fun activities to strengthen language skills. 

Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing* - Snow fun on local trails 

The Low Tiders - Enjoy the outdoors and help keep our beaches clean

Travelogue - Sharing members' national and international travel experiences

Walking in Exeter - Walk and talk with friends in beautiful Exeter

Wine Tasting* - An evening of tasting wines and sharing appetizers (spouses optional)

"Pop-up" Activities - One-time activities for members. Everyone encouraged to suggest & arrange these fun meet-ups!







Seacoast Newcomers Club was founded in 1970 to unite women of the NH Seacoast and surrounding areas for their mutual benefit and promote their common interests: social, educational and philanthropic.
